　　一份经过充分研究的陈述(两到三页)你的论文感兴趣的领域，你的论文的初步想法。

　　混合论文者

　　如果你有兴趣追求这里概述的混合论文，你将写和修改一个原始的早期章节书，中级小说，或青年成人小说的整个手稿，有一个附加的步骤的申请过程。

　　在准备你的该项目申请时，为了评估你是否适合该项目流程，请在你的申请中包含一个大约20页的创造性写作作品集。如果你只对学术论文感兴趣，这个作品集是不必要的。你的作品集应该包括一些你想要的类型的作品:早期的章节书，中等水平的，或者年轻的成人小说。我们也建议你在你的意向声明中简要描述之前的创造性写作经验。

　　托福(作为外语的英语考试):所有教育研究项目的入学要求最低600分(纸质版)，250分(计算机版)，92分(iTB)，每个部分最低22分。

　　雅思(国际英语语言考试中心):总分不低于6.5分，其他单项成绩不低于6.0分。

　　MELAB(密歇根英语语言测试):最低总分数为81分。
