上海--Senior Counselor, US Department

Position Title:Senior Counselor, US Department(高级留学咨询顾问）

This position reports to: Chief Counselor, US/Canada/UK/ Department   

Position Location: IDP项目办公室 Offices in Shanghai

Position Goals:

• Help students to be successfully enrolled by US institutions by providing professional counseling and application services
• Co-operate with Editing Counselor and Assistant to help students with application and achieve admission

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify prospective customers and follow up potential students from all sources;
• Provide objective, unbiased and comprehensive information to students about courses and institutions;
• Achieve the monthly and annual sales target set by branch management by converting the potential enquiries into sales contracts;
• Cooperate with marketing department in planning and organizing marketing campaigns;
• Help junior counselors with sales and counseling
• Other tasks assigned to the position holder.

Expected Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years working experiences as a counselor in a studying overseas agent with proven track record of a successful counselor;
• Have in-depth understanding of education system in the US Australia with up-to-date information of programs and courses offered by institutions;  
• University graduate in Education, English Language or another related subjects is required with good command of English (Spoken and reading), at least IELTS 6.0 equivalents;
• Experience in leading a small team in consulting and training industry is preferred;
• Experience of studying and living in the US is a plus;
• Be responsible, proactive, empathetic, detail-focused and highly self-motivated;
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
