This position reports to: Chief Counselor, Canada Department
Position Location: IDP Offices in Shanghai
Position Goals:
Help students to be successfully enrolled by Canada institutions by providing professional counseling and application services
Co-operate with Editing Counselor and Assistant to help students with application and achieve admission
Key Responsibilities:
Identify prospective customers and follow up potential students from all sources;
Provide objective, unbiased and comprehensive information to students about courses and institutions;
Achieve the monthly and annual sales target set by branch management by converting the potential enquiries into sales contracts;
Provide guidance to students for successful application for visa;
Cooperate closely with partner institutions in the Canada
Cooperate with marketing department in planning and organizing marketing campaigns;
Other tasks assigned to the position holder.
Expected Qualifications:
A minimum of 1 year working experiences as a counselor in a studying overseas agent;
Have in-depth understanding of education system in the US/Canada/UK/Australia with up-to-date information of programs and courses offered by institutions;
University graduate in Education, English Language or another related subjects is required with good command of English (Spoken and reading), at least IELTS 6.0 equivalents;
Experience in consulting and training industry is preferred;
Experience of studying and living in the US/Canada/UK/Australia is a plus;
Be responsible, proactive, empathetic, detail-focused and highly self-motivated;
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
