  成为新西兰注册护士的新途径!

  新西兰教育联盟金牌留学专家徐闻杰老师介绍,新西兰国立联合理工学院(UCOL)是新西兰政府资助的高等教育机构。该学院的三个护士课程为海外护士想要成为新西兰注册护士或来新西兰进一步深造提供了新的途径。

  其三个护士课程分别为:国际注册护士能力评估课程 (CAP),护士本科文凭课程及护士本科学士学位课程。三个课程对学生的语言都有相应的要求,如果学生没有达到语言要求,可以报读WIE的OET或雅思的强化课程,达到语言要求后WIE可以帮助学生申请以上的三个课程。

  New opportunities to become a registered nurse in New Zealand!

  The Universal College of Learning (UCOL) is an award winning government funded tertiary education facility in New Zealand. UCOL has three programmes on offer that cater for the needs of international students wishing to gain registration or go onto further study

  leading to registration in the field of nursing in New Zealand.

  Option 1: Competency Assessment Programme (CAPS)

  This full-time, 12-week study programme is aimed to prepare qualified nurses for nursing registration and practice in New Zealand. Spaces and intakes for this programme are limited and an order of preference applies.

  Requirements: Must hold a nursing registration from another country and meet the NCNZ endorsement requirements.

  Meet the English language requirements from the following approved assessments:

  IELTS: A score of at least 7.0 obtained in reading, listening, writing and speaking respectively.

  OET: An ‘A’ or ‘B’ band in reading, writing, listening, and speaking respectively.

  Option 2: Nursing Diploma

  This full-time, one year programme has the CAP programme included within the qualification and is designed for international, degree qualified nurses wishing to gain registration and work in New Zealand. Successful completing of this programme will lead to New Zealand Nursing registration and more work opportunities within the New

  Zealand health care sector.

  Requirements: Meet the English language requirements from the following approved assessments:

  IELTS: A score of 7.0 in each band and results must be from one individual test and not a mixture of results from multiple tests.

  OET: ‘A’ or ‘B’ grade in all bands.

  Evidence of 2 years nursing practice as a registered nurse and at least 2500 working hours within 5 years immediately preceding the application for entry to the programme.

  Successful completion of an international nursing programme that is equivalent to a 3 year Bachelor of Nursing programme.

  Option 3: Bachelor of Nursing

  This 3 year, full-time study programme is the perfect starting point for a nursing career in New Zealand. The curriculum provides students with a firm knowledge base of all areas of the New Zealand health care system and includes 240 hours of clinical placements within your first year of study.

  Requirements: Declare any previous criminal convictions and authorise UCOL to obtain a criminal record

  Complete a health declaration form

  Provide certified copies of all documentation

  Provide details of two referees to be contacted for confidential reports

  Our OET Preparation and IELTS Preparation courses are designed for international students to gain entrance into these

  programmes. Once the required IELTS or OET score is achieved, we can assist nursing students to apply for these programmes.
